To cook at a high or low temp - it's a quandary.

Bacon is one of those finicky things. You know what I mean. Is it worth settling in with your morning cup of joe when every sizzle, crackle and pop could become a blazing inferno in an instant? Do you keep the burner at a lower temp so that you can sit down for a few minutes to linger in the still quiet moments of dawn only to risk a limp and soggy outcome? Or do you stand ever watchful at the stovetop with tongs in hand and flame blazing tempting fate with every second that passes, you daredevil?
It is a quandary isn’t it? As for me, I play the long game running back and forth from kitchen to sofa sipping coffee at varying temperature levels all while pausing and rewinding whatever mindless yet entertaining movie I have found myself consumed in. It is not the most efficient way to cook bacon in terms of time management and can be annoying, but I won’t ever change it.

I like crispy, so I'm def a daredevil! 🔥
